About Lettersketch
Welcome to Lettersketch, I'm so happy you're here! My name is Teela Cunningham, and I designed and founded Lettersketch in 2011.
I was the kid that always made every holiday card, all the decorations that went with those holidays, and even made up occasions to make new stuff to add to my parents' pride 'o Teela pile circa 1990-ish. It made sense to head to art school after high school, which is exactly what I did, graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2008 with my BFA in Graphic Design.
Life has been good outside of art school, full timing it at a design studio in Atlanta, while also freelancing on the side. I attended the National Stationery Show in New York in May of 2011, and having left fully awestruck and inspired, there was no turning back. I heard my calling loud and clear, and Lettersketch was born three months later.
I wanted to make something different than anything I saw at the show, and also do my part environmentally with the way I produced my products (all made in the USA), and chose the paper stocks for those products (majority FSC certified + high cotton contents). The sketchbooks are just the beginning. They're also a symbol of the entire Lettersketch creation process; a vehicle used for creation yielding a book full of ideas to execute. I can't wait to share all of the new stuff coming your way in the very near future. Thanks again for stopping by! Feel free to say hi or follow here or here for updates!
